hiya, tried telemark skiing today for the first time. a bit humbling initially, but started to get the hang of it and actually linked some half-decent turns down a pretty steep black diamond. tele skiing seems to be what all the "cool" people are doing these days, but i still love my alpine boards for the pure speed and twin tips for trick potential. i'd like to take my skiing more into the half-pipe, park, and rails, and i'm getting pretty good at skiing switch (backwards) and throwing 180's and landing switch, but i'm kind of a pussy when it comes to hucking airs and what not. check out the new photo to the right there of my friend alex hucking himself some 5 or 6 feet above my head. i'm throwing a metal sign at him and wishing i had the balls myself to huck something. tele skiing was kind of fun in terms of being a challenge and a work out for sure. past two days were a whole lot of skiing and weather has been nothing but sunshine.

anyway, just spent an inordinate amount of time over at www.loobiecore.com and also took in the adventures of jl at in oak, in elm. kid's doing wonders for foreign relations.
