more photos...a bit of fall for you all. today i spent the afternoon with my brother at our family's lakehouse pulling out the dock and raft. i'm always overcome with a sense of melancholy when spending any time off season at the lakehouse. for some reason, don henley's "the boys of summer" song starts going through my head. you know, "empty lake, empty streets, the sun goes down alone. i'm driving by your house, though i know you're not at home". that line kills me and makes me think of different girls i dated at the lake. wonder where they are, right? also ran in to shamus, this guy who lives in the town there who's parents own the restaurant i worked at one summer. except shamus was like a little kid, 14,15, or something, but is now this guy working construction and building houses in the area. anyway, he just happened to be at his parent's place (poor people's pub) with some guys he builds with. he bought my brother and i a couple of beers and it was good to hear the different things he's been up to. it's been a few years.

i like the orange-y one with the powerlines. and the one of you on the bench looks like a still from almost famous (bearded guy wearing state trooper "interceptor" shades sitting on bench in some transit station/depot with duffle bag by his side)

i was peeping this site with ted the other day and we wanted to post a comment but having just gotten into a bit of the local green, i couldn't for the life of me remember my password. anyway, he says hello.
